    Formulated with tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), neem oil (Azadirachta indica) and peppermint oil, this shampoo targets lice naturally and effectively, helping to disrupt their lifecycle and soothe scalp irritation. Eucalyptol and lavender oil offer additional purifying and calming benefits, while zinc oxide supports scalp protection and recovery. The base contains glycerin, coconut oil and lactic acid to hydrate and nourish the scalp, making it gentle enough for frequent use without drying. Natural essential oils like limonene, linalool, and linalyl acetate add freshness and contribute to the formula’s antimicrobial power.

    Aqua-water, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium n-lauroylsarcosinate, coco glucoside, stearalkonium chloride, glycol distearate, glycerin, lactic acid, benzyl alcohol, zinc oxide, aloe vera, melaleuca alternifolia essential oil, azadirachta indica (neem) oil, mentha piperita essential oil, eucalyptol, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, lavandula officinalis essential oil, limonene, linalool, linalyl acetate.

    Breng een kleine hoeveelheid shampoo aan op een natte hoofdhuid en haar. Masseer zachtjes in de hoofdhuid gedurende 2–3 minuten, zodat de actieve ingrediënten hun werk kunnen doen. Spoel grondig uit met lauw water. Gebruik 2–3 keer per week of volgens de aanbevelingen van de dermatoloog. Vermijd contact met de ogen.

    Let op: Als de hoofdhuid zeer droog of gedehydrateerd is, kan het wassen aanvankelijk meer schilferen of een strak gevoel veroorzaken. Dit is tijdelijk en betekent vaak een diepere exfoliatie. Om de balans te herstellen, gebruik na het wassen een hydraterende conditioner of serum voor de hoofdhuid.

    I use this as a preventive measure since my kids started school. The tea tree and neem gives it that medicinal smell but it's not overpowering like some lice treatments. The shampoo lathers well and rinses out easily without leaving any residue or making hair feel stripped dry or greasy.

    I have sensitive skin on my face, and even when its exposed to this shampoo, it doesn't feel irritated. The coconut oil in the formula helps detangle hair which makes checking with the nit comb much easier. You need to leave it on for a few minutes to work properly but it's worth the extra time.

    The ingredients are good, it opts for natural control methods over synthetic.

    While you can certainly get lice/nit controlling shampoo for a lot cheaper they also tend to have a smell to them that would put off most kids from wanting it used on them or adults with a sensitive smell whereas this one does the job while still smelling like ordinary shampoo and aiming to keep the roots healthy at the same time. It is also made completely from natural ingredients which means that while being pleasant to use I won't have to worry about any negative side effects from it. This is likely not a shampoo that you would use often anyway in all honesty unless you were to work somewhere that would have them more often like school. That aside seems relatively recommendable if you prefer natural made products and have the budget.

    I ordered this for my daughter as she always uses a well-known branded shampoo for children as a headlice prevention and is very happy with it but I thought it was a good idea to give another brand a go, especially as it is made with natural ingredients. Not surprisingly it has a strong tea tree smell which is quite pleasant. She said it lathered nicely and is just as happy with it as her usual shampoo. She has very long hair and it makes it look shiny and smooth. The only thing I'm a little unsure of is that it says in the description that it eliminates head lice, so I'm not sure if it's aimed at people who already have head lice or as more of a preventative measure. I can't comment on it effectiveness at eliminating head lice but I can confirm that my daughter has not had any since using it so it seems to be working as a preventative shampoo.
